- All profiles are screened and have to be approved by a member of the Yourshack team
What we recommend you do
- Never provide your bank details or any sensitive information to other users; all transactions go through Yourshack
- If you witness any inappropriate conduct taking place, please report this to a member of the Yourshack team
- We STRONGLY recommend that before meeting a potential flatmate, both parties contact the Yourshack office and make a nominal £1.00 payment via a debit or credit card, this would give potential traceability and would act as a deterrent to anyone untoward. Both parties would also be asked additional questions for security purposes.
- If you are new to the area and meeting a potential flatmate for the first time, here are some venues which may be of interest to you (all are well lit and in busy locations): KRO Piccadilly Gardens, Lakota Deansgate Locks, Bluu Northern Quarter, any Starbucks or Costa Coffee. Be aware of your personal safety and use your common sense. Notify us of your meeting and let us know how it has gone.
